Estimated Client Profit (Tech Fundraisers Only)

The easiest way to track your profit during the fundraiser is with the "Estimated Client Profit" number in the top left of your admin dashboard.

There are a few things to note about this number, however.

This number is purely an estimate, not an exact total. There are a few reasons for this:

1. The amount of funds you have being donated is constantly changing, and sometimes there is a slight delay in banks processing funds.
2. Donors may be issued refunds, which would then change the total
3. Fundraisers that accept per lap/ unit donations in addition to flat can only be fully calculated once the number of laps/ units have been entered after the event
4. Although the baseline percent profit for your fundraiser will be 85%, donors will cover much of the remaining 15% with the advent of Donor's Choice, leaving you to profit closer to 96% or 97%! However, the exact amount that donors cover cannot be fully calculated until donating is finished. During the course of the fundraiser, your estimated client profit will be based off of 95% profit. MyBooster fundraisers average 96% profit, but we use 95% to be conservative. 

Once donating has been closed and all funds have been processed, we will be able to calculate an exact percent and total profit!
